Mr. Barry GannonADAA Reunion and trip to Ha NoiDanhJust a short note to say thank you for your very professional services provided to the Australian Air Dispatch Association (ADAA) reunion in Saigon and the tours you arranged for us during the two weeks we were in Vietnam. The guides were very good and spoke good english which assisted us very much, they were very knowledgeable about the country and its people. Your charges for the services provided were very modest and much better than those offered by companies based here in Australia. Should you require I am happy to post you a letter from the ADAA recommending your services to anyone who may be interested. Again our thanks for your services they were excellent. Barry Gannon
Daniela MeiromMeirom group -Vietnam trip
Hello
We are home now and I expected some kind of a feedback request from you but so far got nothing, and decided to send one anyway.
First of all I wanted to thank you in the name of the whole group for a very successful trip. Everything went smoothly and according to plan. The itinerary was well planned, the guides were knowledgeable and caring, the vans were in good condition and comfortable.
I would like to point out several things that were less than 100% - maybe it will be useful to you in the future:
a- the english accent of some of the guides was very bad and we could hardly understand them. Our best guide was Dara in Phnom Penh, unfortunately he was with us only for one day. Chum in Hanoi and Ky in HCM city were also good, The others were also good and warm and kind and we loved them all, but sometimes we had hard time to understand them, maybe because we are not native english speakers
b- most of the hotels were good. The worst was in Phnom Penh - small and smelly rooms and awful maitenance. The one in Siem Reap had nice rooms, but lots of maitenance problems. The same goes for the hotel in Sapa - they had serious problems with the hot water supply, which was extremely annoying.
c- the itinerary was almost perfect, but I think the time in Siem Reap was too long, 2 days would be quite enough, and it could be nice to spend one more day in Hoi An or Hue.
Thank you for everything. We had a very good and interesting experience and will certainly recommend your company to our friends Daniela Meirom
Karon GrimmerFabulous TNK Travel Guides
I have just returned from my first experience in Vietnam. The week that I spent with a large group from Wagga Wagga in Ho Chi Minh City was absolutely fabulous. Our guides Gaing and Bing were incredibly knowledgable about the culture and experiences that we had in HCMC, Cu Chi, Meekong and Long Tan. Thier communication skills and sense of humour was enjoyed by everyone in our group. A huge thanks to TNK and our guides Gaing and Bing! I can't wait to visit again someday!
Terry LeachRe: Mekong Delta and Cu Chi tunnel tour
Dear Luu Vo
we are now back in Australia with many wonderful memories of our exciting trip to Vietnam. We wish to thank you personally for assisting us and organizing 2 tours whilst we were in Siagon. The trip to Mekong delta was an absolute highlight,a wonderful, skillful driver,Mr Hung and a most informative and capable guide Huy enabled us to have many great experiences.
Also the lady at the front desk who assisted me in printing out our boarding passes for the next day flights to KL and Melbourne was wonderful and most cooperative. It all added up to a memorable experience which we have no hesitation in recommending to other travellers. Many thanks and Kind regards to all at TNK Travel Terry and Deirdre Leach
Shaun McCreeCambodia Exclusive 5-day tour
Dear Nhu Y,
After our initial misunderstanding over payment (my fault entirely), I would like you to know that the tour went excellently. A friendly & helpful guide in Phnom Penh made our day both pleasant & informative, even if we were rather devastated by the Killing Fields & S21. Although they are hard to take, we think everyone should see them to understand what happened in Kampuchea. Our guide in Siem Reap, Marouan, & his driver were if anything even better and our trips around the Angkor complex were absolutely unforgettable. The Hotel Salina in Siem Reap was good value for money, despite being the cheapest available but we were a little disappointed with the Princess in Phnom Penh where we found the food rather poor & the staff rather disinterested. We recognise this is also the cheapest option but clearly does not match up to the budget hotels we stayed in throughout our 4 weeks in Vietnam. Our only small problem was that the advertisement on your website suggests lunch is provided everyday although, on checking your acknowledgement, it was not listed. Perhaps someone could correct the website.

Dear all. This is to say thank you very much for all your support during our trip to Vietnam. We spent a wonderful time in your country, and we were able to know a lot about your people, culture, places and ways of life. Our three guides, Thong - in Saigon and Mekong Delta; Thom - in Hue and Hoy An; and Ding - in Hanoi and Halong Bay did a wonderful work. Congratulations for all of them. I think we can recommend your agency to our friends. Our best regards Carlos Bertens and family.

I was interested in visiting Vietnam and found TNK Travel through a search engine. I was a little sceptical about booking online as sometimes you do not get what you paid for. My experience with TNK Travel exceeded my expectations. I was met by our lovely tour guide Nhy in Hochiminh city and she absolutely looked after us. The holiday was very relaxing and experienced with ease. I travelled from HCMC - Hanoi and every experience with the guides and drivers were great. I would very much recommend TNK Travel. Vietnam is a wonderful place to visit and the people are lovely. The tour I experienced was good value for money. Michelle Davis - Sydney, Australia
Anne-Marie Ivarsson/Matz NilssonCon Dao Island - Flight ticket & Hote booking service
Dear Ms Luu Vo! Now we are back in Sweden since last Monday and here is cold and windy and only 2 degrees, but no snow. We want to thank you for a fantastic journey in your country and in Cambodia. You and your office have done a very good work. Everything was perfect and the three guides we had both in Vietnam, Phnom Pen and Siam Reap were very professional and pleasent. Vi felt very safe the whole time. Please if you can tell them that. We must not forget the chauffeurs who drive us safety. We hope of course that we can come back to Vietnam some time. We liked Ho Chi Minh very much. Some feedback will we give, the hotels have been good, besides the hotel in Siam Reap, where the staff were not so serviceminded. The Con Dao islands will probably be good in a future, when they have cleaned up the beaches and the fishingboats were gone, but the resort and the staff were very nice. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Best regards from me and my friends Anne-Marie Ivarsson
Andrea MallettThank You
Dear tnk, Your company organised a wonderful trip for ourselves and our friends (Mallett & Crisp families) over christmas and new year 2006/2007. We have some photos and things we would like to pass on to the wonderful guides that showed us around your beautiful country. If we send them to you are you able to pass them on for us? If possible do you have an address for Dat who did such a wonderful job of showing us around Saigon and Mekong Delta. Thank You again for a wonderful trip we have been recomending your company to all of our friends. Andrea Mallett
Day 1: Arrival - Vientiane
On arrival in Vientiane, meet your guide and transfer to your centrally located hotel. After a short rest, take a sightseeing of the capital's temples, including Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha. On the way to the sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, stop to take pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, Vientiane 's own Arc de Triumph. Watch the sunset and spend the evening by the Mekong Riverside. Overnight in Vientiane
Day 2: Vientiane - Xiengkhuang ( B )
Take the short afternoon flight to Xieng khouang, which was devastated by American bombing between 1964 and 1973. Upon arrival, visit the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site containing hundreds of large stone jars littered all over the plateau. Then explore the old capital of Muang Khoun Province and the nearby villages, home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people who have an interesting local culture and a colorful history. Overnight in Phonsavanh.
Day 3: Xiengkhouang - Luang Prabang ( by road ) ( B )
Early morning, we visit the Central Market of Phonsavanh to watch the different hilltribe people barter and exchange merchandises. We then head out towards Luang Prabang. Enroute we stop off to see the Buddha images in Thampra, a site more than 200 years old, and various Hmong and hilltribe minority villages along the way. After a photo stop, we continue driving uphill, enjoying the splendid natural scenery of the mountains, the forest and landscape. The journey will take us over mountainous regions until we approach Luang Prabang, one of the most beautiful traditional towns in Asia.
After checking into your hotel, if time permits, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai; we then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred, gilded stupa as well as capture a beautiful view of the city and the Mekong River at sunset. From there, we visit the Night Market, where you can browse a lovely selection of handmade textiles, made by the local people and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight at Luang Prabang
Day 4: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou cave ( B )
Today, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city's oldest temples of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well as exploring the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by devoted pilgrims. Along the way, we will stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where local rice wine is produced. On return, we take a short drive to another small village Ban Phanom, which is famous for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang
Day 5: Luang Prabang - Departure ( B )
After breakfast, we visit the National Museum (closed Tuesdays) at the former Royal Palace. It displays a collection of artefacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through to the last sovereign. There will also be time for us to look around the Central Market. You wil then be transferred to the airport for your flight.
